Dragons in the neighborhood

This dragon can cause lots of problems if it gets loose in the neighborhood.

But a lot of people keep worrying about the ants. Ants are troublesome but they don't breathe fire.

  • Worry about the big problems first.

  • Then take care of the little ones.

One of our guiding principles is to avoid making things harder. For example, some people use technology for technology's sake. We use technology to accomplish our goals simply, quickly, efficiently.

So we don't use the fancy stuff unless it is really necessary, not just because it's fun. Instead of solving problems, technology may create new ones.
We follow some simples rules:

  • Don't do something merely because you can.

  • The tried-and-true method is usually best.

  • Keep it simple.

  • Avoid fixing things that work.

  • Understand why you are using technology.
