Decision-Maker Washington Briefings

Radnor conducts Washington Briefings for business, political and governmental groups. All briefings are tailored to the specific needs of the participants.

Radnor works with the prospective group to determine the group’s interests and objectives. Then a program is implemented that permits participants to meet with appropriate Cabinet, White House, Senate and Congressional officials, and with applicable interest groups and organizations. Briefings usually take place at the office of the U.S. official or group.

An important element of the briefings is the social aspect. We arrange receptions and meal functions to permit participant to ‘get to know’ the key U.S. officials in a setting designed to cement relationships.

Radnor will also arrange sightseeing tours and other functions, as requested.

Guidelines

  • Groups may be of any size from 3 to 4 individuals to a maximum of 24.

  • Participants should have familiarity with English or should provide their own translation.

  • Participants will be meeting with U.S. officials in secured government building and should carry passports and other forms of identification, copies of which must be submitted in advance of travel to the United States.

  • Participants will be meeting American officials in formal settings and should dress appropriately. For example, it is not possible at the current time for gentlemen to enter the White House and several Cabinet buildings without a jacket and tie.

Costs

The cost for a group begins at US$15,000 per day with a two-day minimum. A day is considered 12 hours of programmed meetings and functions and can be broken up into two days. In fact, we recommend splitting the days—for example, a 4-hour segment on one day and 8 hours on the next day would be considered one group day for payment purposes.

Payment is expected in advance and does not include expenses, which are billed at cost.

Arranging a briefing

Radnor conducts several briefings each year. However, due to the time required to set up appointments with the appropriate officials, and to make maximum use of participants’ time, please give us at least 120 days to arrange a briefing for your group.
